Saturday May 5th, 2012 the moon was photographed by many an enthusiast at it's closest approach to earth, much brighter and apparently bigger. I skimmed a few of the pictures that I have posted here and due credit given below and I also added a short time lapse video of the moon rising over Lake Michigan.
